Chuck is a husband, father, grandfather, author, and web designer. His hobbies include computers, cooking, reading, travel, and writing. A Nazarene Elder, Chuck graduated from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Previous employment has included manufacturing plant manager, computer programmer, web developer, communications coordinator, pastor, and missionary to Papua New Guinea. His travels have exposed him to many cultures in countries including: Africa, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Guatemala, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, and Thailand. Today he spends his time speaking at events, counseling, writing books, maintaining various blogs and creating podcasts and video training resources for marriage enrichment.

Renee is a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker and now works outside her home for the Church of the Nazarene Global Ministry Center in Lenexa, Kansas. Her interests include music, crochet, decorating, gardening…and most of all spending time with her granddaughter, Zoe! Renee is an alumnus of Northwest Nazarene University and a graduate of Nazarene Theological Seminary. She stayed home and raised their three sons until 1998 when she went back to school and began working at Nazarene Headquarters. Renee has always been a strong support to Chuck as a pastor’s wife and worked alongside him as a missionary in Papua New Guinea. She taught at the Melanesian Bible College and worked in the field office. With her own marriage and family high on her list of priorities, Renee makes time for mentoring other women and serves on the Women’s Ministry Team in her local church. She loves to travel and has been on mission trips to several world areas. These days, Renee loves to spend time with their sons picnicking, watching favorite movies or playing games together and reminiscing over family times past. Her favorite times are when she and Chuck can steal away on a holiday together or spending time with their granddaughter. She is very happy being “Nana” to 4-year-old Zoe!
